Maryland Congresswoman Wants Washington Football Team Name Erased
(Metro Networks) — Maryland Congresswoman Donna Edwards is co-sponsoring legislation to make the Washington Washington Football Team name illegal. The Democrat who represents a district including FedEx Field says it’s “well time” for such a bill. She adds, she certainly understands “where the Native American community is coming from.”
