A Letter From Our CEO

I am excited to share with you that on Saturday, June 1st, gmc – the channel you’ve made America’s favorite for uplifting entertainment – is changing its name to UP. Our new name clearly identifies our unique promise to you: UP is the television destination that will always provide your family with entertainment that is uplifting and inspiring.

I also want you to know that we’re keeping the great programming lineup you enjoy, including seven upcoming original movies, while also bringing you some exciting new additions:

June 7th we kick off Family Addition with Leigh Anne Tuohy. Leigh Anne is the real mom from the Blind Side movie, and she’s partnered with UP to help adopting families realize their dreams just as she did adopting Michael Oher.

In July we launch the inspiring reality series Bulloch Family Ranch, taking you inside the lives of a loving couple on a Florida ranch as they open their home to give troubled teens a chance to turn their lives around.

I know your hearts will be moved and your family will feel uplifted as you watch both of these new series.
